Recipe #2 Broiled Chicken

This meal is too easy and takes no time to cook.  I often overcook the chicken because it cooks so darn fast.




1 lb. chicken breast for Milanesa (very thin chicken breasts), cut 1/4-inch thick

1 bottle/package of prepared marinade (I prefer Lawry’s Herb and Garlic Marinade with Lemon Juice)

Optional Sides:

Seasoned Rice

Frozen Vegetables (broccoli, spinach, or whatever your family enjoys)



  • Place the chicken in a resealable plastic bag or bowl, add the marinade, and place the bag or bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or even overnight
  • Preheat the oven to the broiler setting
  • Line the broiler pan with aluminum foil for easy clean up
  • Place the chicken breasts in the broiler pan
  • Place broiler pan in the oven for 6 – 10 minutes, turning once until fully cooked
Side Note:
I often forget to pre-marinate the chicken and the meal still tastes great.
